Terms of Service

Gigzz is an online platform that helps Indian households find verified college students for one-time, in-person tasks ("Gigs"). Gigzz is operated by [YOUR REGISTERED ENTITY NAME], registered in India.

By creating an account or using Gigzz, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be legally able to enter into a contract under Indian law.
• Students must be currently enrolled at a recognised college or university and able to provide a valid college ID.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

Read this carefully. Gigzz is a marketplace that connects Posters and Students. We do not employ Students, we do not perform the gig work, and we are not a party to any agreement between a Poster and a Student.

We do not handle payments. Payment for any gig is made directly between the Poster and the Student via UPI, cash, or any method they mutually agree on, in person, after the gig is done. Gigzz never holds, transfers, or processes money.

Therefore, Gigzz:

• does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or completion of any gig;
• is not responsible for the conduct of any Poster or Student, online or offline;
• is not liable for any disputes, losses, injuries, or damages arising from any gig;
• is not a payment intermediary, escrow agent, or financial institution.

You use Gigzz at your own risk. Always meet in safe public locations for first interactions. Verify identity in person before sharing your home address. Disclose any safety-relevant context to the other party.

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• You are responsible for everything done on your account.
• Students must complete identity verification (College ID + Aadhaar) before applying for any gig. Verification is reviewed by the Gigzz team and may be approved or rejected at our sole discretion.
• One person, one account. Duplicate or impersonation accounts will be removed.

You agree not to:

• Use Gigzz for anything illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or harassing.
• Post gigs that involve illegal work, drugs, weapons, sex work, or services prohibited under Indian law.
• Discriminate against any user on the basis of caste, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Circumvent safety features, copy content, scrape data, or attempt to compromise the service's security.
• Off-platform a relationship to dodge accountability.
• Post false reviews or manipulate ratings.

• Describe the task accurately (what, where, when, how much).
• Pay the agreed amount in full and on time, directly to the Student via UPI or cash.
• Provide a safe environment for the Student to perform the gig.
• Do not ask Students for personal favours, sensitive credentials, or anything outside the scope of the posted gig.

• Show up on time and complete the gig as described.
• Behave professionally and respectfully at all times.
• Communicate proactively if anything changes.
• Do not solicit additional money or favours beyond the agreed gig.
• Do not share Posters' personal details (address, phone, etc.) with anyone else.

• Either party may cancel before the gig starts, but should communicate as early as possible. Repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to account suspension.
• If a dispute arises (e.g., gig not done, payment not received), parties should first try to resolve it directly through in-app chat.
• If unresolved, you may report it to support@gigzz.in. We will review the chat history and ratings, and may suspend accounts found to be at fault, but Gigzz cannot guarantee any monetary remedy since we do not handle payments.

You may post reviews and ratings of users you have transacted with. Reviews must be honest, factual, and free from abuse, hate, or defamation. We may remove any review that violates these rules.

By posting any content (gig description, message, review, profile bio) you grant Gigzz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store, and distribute that content within the service.

We may suspend or close any account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, broken the law, or harmed another user. You may close your account at any time by emailing support@gigzz.in.

Gigzz is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express, implied, statutory) including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that Gigzz will always be available, error-free, or secure, or that any user is who they claim to be despite our verification efforts.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gigzz, its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to ₹1,000 (one thousand rupees) — reflecting the fact that Gigzz charges no platform fee and provides the service for free at this stage.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gigzz and its team from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [YOUR CITY], India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or an in-app banner. Continued use of Gigzz after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
